Recently called upon to return home to Costa Rica to photograph a wedding !  What an honor and a treat to photograph this beautiful couple!  It was hot as blazes, but bride & groom were cool as chayotes!.  While the guests hugged trees to derive a little shade from the occasional palm tree, they stood in the sun, taking their vows, smiling and gazing into each other's eyes .... as  sweat  poured into ours!

Once the ceremony was over, we had a great opportunity to work with the couple, as the guests went to refresh themselves in the shade of the palapa. The backgrounds were so lush and colorful .. we didn't have to go far to get that tropical feeling.

And finally, it was time to party!  The night ended with the energy and excitement of this spontaneous gathering of conga drums.
